A. Dear mum, do not go by your baby’s appearance. If baby is gaining weight at least 500 grams per month, is active, alert, achieving all growth milestones, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, it indicates good health. For healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed your baby till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
