#asktheexpert what is the weight of the 8 month baby. my son in law is 10 month old but he is so thin weight is 6 kg what could be the reason

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. 7 to 10.5 kg is the average weight range for 8 month old baby boy. Skinny look may be due to genetic reasons. If father or mother was skinny during their childhood then she could also be getting the same physique. But as long as the baby is taking feeds and eating properly, poops and pees regularly and is active and healthy you need not worry much about the weight.
