hello doctor.. my baby is having cold for past 10days... and also due to weather change his body(stomach,forehead) becoming very hot when i checked his temperature it was showing below 99... is he was suffering with fever or becoz of cold nd weather change his body becomes hot? plz reply

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 1 m old girl4 years agoA. just steam for the baby .Nasal block or congestion is due to the common cold and flu mainly due to season variation . Steam along with other home remedy like maintaining baby temperature will help . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .

Yes Yes it could be due to weather change and fever yes it would be because exactly 99° fahrenheit would be really very mild fever so you can give paracetamol to your child as of now and if it repeats after six hours and you can repeat the dosage again once
