Hello doctor.. my baby is a premature baby..now he is 3months old with 5.3kgs weight... but my doctor suggested us to start cerelac after 10days.. is it ok if I strt solids soon for the baby.. please help me doctor I'm confused..

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. OK... But still only formula milk to be given till six months. After that u can start with cerelac. U can also consult other doctor for second opinion.

Mother should exclusive breast feed her baby till six months. No, it is not the right time to start with the solids. Once ur baby completes six months then u can give cerelac to ur baby. The weight of ur baby is fine as per the age
