hello doctor, My baby is 40 days old and his belly button is coming outside and ahs been diagnosed umbilical hernia. My pediatrician said that it will be fine on its own by 2 to 3 years age. Can we do massage on stomach in this case?

the child is having umbilical hernia which is very common in children and goes away by maximum 2 years of age.
with growing age it regresses and goes inside
it does not requixre any intervention or treatment before 2 years if it is non complicated.
meet your doctor once who will tell you whether any intervention or wait and watch policy is required.
