Q.

hello doctor, my baby is 3 months old.. she is not drinking milk when she is in sound sleep. it takes more than 5 hours, especially during night time, I used to wakeup her to feed, but she will be sleeping without drinking a drop.. but in the day time I feed her for 7-8 times.. is this a problem!! is there any solution for this?! thanks in advance

A. Dear ma’am, this is absolutely fine and nothing to worry if the baby is active, has adequate wet counts and appropriate weight gain. At night you can also dream feed your baby. If she is receiving frequent feeds during the day then at night it’s fine to give a gap of upto 4-5 hours max
