Q.

Hello Doctor, My baby is 2.5 months old. Her birth weight was 2.94 kgs and currently she weighs 4.6 kgs. She sleeps for 6 to 8 hours straight during night. Should I wake her for feeding in between?

A. dear mum, your baby's weight gain in 2.5 months has been normal. baby should gain at least 500 grams per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months. there is no need to wake up your baby for feeding. you should feed as per your baby's demand.
