Q.

Hello Doctor My 8 months old son has plagiocephaly, brachiocephaly and macrocephaly ( we took mri and CT scan). does it cause any concern in future? treatment required? does it cause any brain damage or neuro related problems? my son is active till now. pls advise.

A. MRI is not a very good option button and you know in case of situation when you have to get it and you have to get it done so I don’t think so it is going to have your child in any manner your child is Arpit your child is doing good for nothing to be worried about it later you say anything then it could be an issue but as of now from where I look at it I don’t think so it would be a problem at allWrite Your Answer Here

Q. Hello, My daughter fell on back of her head while crawling at 7.5 months. She was normal after that for 7-8 hrs and in the night she started vomiting. she vomitted continuously for 10-12 times. we took her to ER and doctor suggested for CT scan. The reports were normal and Dr concluded that it was stomach infection. But, I came to know from another doctor that having ct scan in baby girl may lead to cancer and hence, I am too worried. I am feeling guilty and overstressed since 7-8 months. can you please help to understand if one paediatric ct scan can lead to cancer.
