Q.

hello doctor, my 3 years old daughter having severe constipation problem one year onwards.we consulted so many doctors.they recommended syrups and pills. she is trying to get potty.but unable to do it.still the problem exists.please recommended any solution.

A. The problem of constipation will decrease with proper diet modification that is plenty of water andr fibre diet and try to give more papaya oats and fennel seeds water to the child. You may have to give a course of constipation medicine to the child to stabilize the child from the pain. Constipation usually decreases with increasing age of the child and fmedicines give only symptomatic relief.
