Hello doctor.. My 3 months old baby is taking all the scheduled vaccines from private hospital (Cloudnine) that includes OPV/IPV.. Do I need to additionally give her pulse polio drop that is from Govt scheduled for this month?

I am also taking vaccination from cloudninefory baby. Despite of the schedule, we went ahead and took the polio dose that was setup by govt but after we got a go ahead by the paediatrician.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. pulse polio immunization is extra dosage irrespective of the vaccination schedule as well as the vaccination that is been given to the child.
it is advisable that you get the child vaccinated for polio if the child is not having any type of fever at present.
simple cough and cold d is not a contraindication for polio drops.
it is usually available at any government centre that is primary and centre or urban health centre
