Q.

Hello doctor My 10.5 month old baby boy is rejecting solids for more than a week now Earlier he was eating properly but now rejecting everything , I have even tried different textures and offered varieties but still he is not accepting any solid meal Only accepting milk but that too the volume for milk has also reduced What should I do 10 days back he was teething but now all the swollen gums are normal now and teeths has erupted Pl suggest what should I do

A. try to give easy Chewing foods like upma, kichidi, well cooked potato mash, curd, frozen banana, pudding, cold cucumber and cold carrot. keep baby hydrated. Easy Chewing foods can help baby eat well and it woukd be comfortable for the baby too

A. Teething could be happening with your child as that can often lead to loss of appetite with a lot of kids and it is a very common practice to be see further more I would definitely recommend you to check the gums of your child that’s going to give you better clarity and if that’s the same reason then try to go ahead with giving more of liquid to the child in the current situation
