hello doctor π Iam 4th month pregnant Iam getting pain on my lower rib bone while sleeping on left side.. is it safe to lying down on my right side or else is it cause any problem to my baby... plz suggest me

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. at 4 months of pregnancy the size of the uterus will be somewhere between the pelvic bone and the umbilicus so it has absolutely no role or has no contact with the rib. if the pain seems to be severe then consult a doctor

Do abdominal stretching exercise and go for walking every day atleast 15-20 minutes stay hydrated avoid junk food and bakery products like maida bread avoid stress stay happy
Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment
Maintain hydration
