Q.
hello doctor I have one year and 6 months old daughter.. she has nasal sound while breathing .. I want to know why is it happening .. is it cause of dry nose or congestion .. she doesn't have cold or any other issues..

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. it can be because of hypertrophy of the nasal mucosa and condition of the nose Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby

This can be because of congestion in such case you should always try to keep your baby in normal room temperature and don’t change the temperature of surroundings frequently. Still baby doesn’t get relieve the next 2 to 3 days then consult with your doctor about it
