Q.

Hello doctor ... I have lost all my pregnancy weight before pregnant I was 66 during delivery I was 79 kg ..now again by doing proper diet and excerise now I'm 64 kg .. I'm using healthifyMe app in that it is showing I should eat 1650 cal per day ! can I consume only that much calories?? because I'm breastfeeding mother?? how much calories I should take???!

A. for a breastfeeding women we should take little bit more calories than the expected calories do not concentrate only and losing your weight you have to maintain a good health also

A. Ma’am See if your agenda is only to lose down your weight then you should have limited calories per day but I am really very surprised that your child is only five months old and you’re already started doing dieting and exercising to lose down your weight because it does make a lot of difference and it does affect your breast feeding also which is why it is not recommended to go for exercising and dieting for initial six months but never mind since you’re already doing it if you want to have more calories you should because you’re breastfeeding the child and then continue exercising also to burn it down
