hello doctor... I beg u Plz help me.......My daughter is 4 yrs old and from past two months she having cough and cold.... sometimes cold gets ok but her cough is not going any which way I have tried... my doc prescribed me Cough medicine and montlekuast cetrizine and Amoxcylin calvunate... I am really frustrated now in sleep it disturbs her alot..... plz help me plz

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line ofs treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer.
allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also.
body cannzot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.
