Q.

Hello Doctor, baby is having only cough which is once in 3 hours. No fever or breathing problem

A. Keep a cool mist humidifier where your child rests. Let a warm shower run in a closed bathroom and sit in it with your baby once the room is filled with steam for around 10 mins. Try keeping a wet towel in your baby's room as this allows the baby to inhale air with moisture. Dry roast 2 big cloves of garlic and one tbsp of ajwain and after cooling down, place the mixture in a clean muslin cloth to make a tight pouch. Keep this pouch hidden under your baby's pillow or bed. The aroma from the pouch can help in opening up the blocked nose and provide relief from congestion.
