Hello Doctor and # expert, My daughter is 9 months old . She has upper front teeth’s coming. These days whenever I breastfeed her my nipples are hurt. I am not sure how to fix this problem. Do you think nipple shield will help?

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist4 years agoA. yes. nipple shield will help. also massage the babys gums immediately before feeding. firmly but politely say no when your child bites and stop the feed for some time. this will make her understand

yes nipple shield will surely help
But don't use the wounded one to feed her
Apply nip care cream or turmeric powder over it and let it heal
Take nutritious diet.
