hello doc my daughter is one and half year old she is having cough and cold i have tried syrups but it didn't work can u PLZZ suggest something

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor after the exact cause is diagnosrfed.
As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syrup should be given only after a proper evaluation according to the type of cough self medication may not be so helpful so please consult your doctor once.
