Q.

Hello doc My baby is almost end of 4month, my baby's pediatrician suggested Digegut with bacillus clausii spores suspension, pack is 5ml and he asked me to give 2.5ml at night time for 3 days.... Is it safe for 4month baby? Coz my baby feels nausea after feed and suddenly he stopped latching, but he need to drink milk and crys... Pls tell me giving him 2.5ml is safe?

A. you should always consult doctor for proper medicine because it is only after clinical exagmination that proper treatment would be suggested and wegight is important to decide dosage do not selfmedicate

A. If you feel that it is not suiting the child and don’t continue with the medicine I would suggest Thuli consult with your doctor once again and also 2.5 ML is really on quite a higher side for such a small child mostly .5 ML or five drops in most of the cases
