#asktheexpert He is frequently getting cough. we are giving him 1kf syrup and antibiotic as suggested by pediatrician. Pl advise on to increase his immunity and built his stamina

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations.
many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections.
it is very common that children will have da recurrent cough and cold as well as fever before 7 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will go away.
get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasingd this problem

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give indirect steam to the baby. Also massage baby chest with lukewarm BabyHug mustard oil. You can alao rub kids Vaporub on kids clothes near chest area. Keep the baby warm at all times.
Please give tulsi drops in water for atleast two months to develop immunity. Also give honey in lukewarm water for immunity.
