Q.

hay my son is 23 months and when he go for potty getting pain and don't pass the stool so what can I do for him

A. hello mom,,, if your baby is not passing stool normally it seems to be a constipation,, give enough water for baby very often, give a gentle massage for baby tummy with castor oil, you add more fluids in baby diet until baby do stool normal. give easily digestive foods example; ragi porridge, coconut water, curd rice( you can add granted carrot and cucumber also), fresh fruit juices.

A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fifbre diet to the child it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving paccket and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation
