Hai, it is silly to ask these type of question but I need clarification.. my question is my mil side they cook the rice in pressure cooker nd whereas my mother side they follow the method draining water after rice was cooked my mil used to say what’s the use of draining water

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hello mam , no issues for this question .. but your MIL is right .. when you drain out the water you actually wash out all the nutrients in rice .. the nutritional value almost becomes to zero .. were as when you pressure cook it the nutrients retains
