hai dr, my baby is now 17days old... i have an issue in nipple crack n low milk supply , so now for a week i expressed milk n feed formula milk.. once i expressed i feel left breast is only expressed little amount of milk than the right side..but most of the time i used to feed left side of the breast... any solution of low milk supply n nipple crack?? ply reply

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Try to start pumping. Instead of expressing the milk it is better that use a breast pump as it is relatively easy. You can apply nip care ointment on the nipple cracks.Write Your Answer Here

Apply Coconut oil onto your nipples they will heal gradually otherwise Boroline also is a good option and second of all I’m just going to advise you that if you are having low breastfeed you can start having lactation capsules to increase your lactation otherwise start giving formula feeding as well
