Q.

Hai doctor my daughter is 4 month old her birthb weight is 2.6kg she had jaundice and was in NICU for 2days at the time of discharge her weight is 2.4 kg now her weight is 3 75kg..is it ok doctor...or any complication pls help me doctor..she is in breast milk i am pumping and giving the breast milk through manual pump...pls help me ..

A. this is ok. carry on good job see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well

A. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and yes please give your baby breast milk and also try to give baby directly. and also evaluate once with doctor and ask for food supplement and vitamins too as baby is having less weight. take care

Q. #asktheexpert , Humara beta 13 din ka hai and usko jaundice tha after 2 days of his birth , the hospital admitted him for 2 days in NICU for phototherapy . Before it his jaundice was 14.80 and when he discharged it was reached at 9.23. however the doctor had said it is normal. But now the baby is 13 days old and his eyes still look yellow. we are not sure if it is ok or not and how long it will take to heal.
