hai doc....my girl baby was 33 days old...she umbilical cord completely heal ..but belly button not go inside the stomach..yhen bellybutton is swelling...any problem..im so worried

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. babies no 33 days old and belly button is coming outside it is a sign of umbilical hernia normal umbilical hernia will heal on its own till one year of age

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good morning nothing to worry about it much. It's normal with new borns. It will usually settle on its own. Just monitor for few days. It will setlle. If it still persists. I feel and suggest It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now.
