Q.
Gud morning doctor.. my baby is seven months old..weight 6.5 kgs.. he is not gaining weight..In a day he eats uggu, formula milk, breast milk, rice, cerelac, fruit (banana or sapota)...In a day he poop 4 or 5 times.. please let me know why he is not gaining weight..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Weaning has three stages in which it can be started .
stage 1 consists of introduction of liquids and solid food which shall be done at 5 to 6 months of age and needs to be started gradually step byyy step .
stage 2 consists of more textured and new taste to baby by 7 months of age
stage 3 in fwhich a more variety of food can be started by 9-12 months of age...
