Good morning sir/ma'am,my baby having fever after vaccination,can I put cold water straps on her head?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. no not needed at all. baby on touch can have warm sole forehead and is a normal thing . Temperature above 99 farenheit at armpit level is considered as fever and needs medicines .
Can give calpol / Sumol / T 98 for fever and can be repeated every 6 hours .
if fever does not subside with paracetamol and persists for more than 2 days then you need to consult a doctor for examination to know cause of fever .
Fever after vaccine can or cannot be there so no worry about post vaccine fever .
