Q.

Good morning. My child is three years old. She has little vomiting before three days it is accompanied by fever. For two days the fever lasts every four to six hours. After two days it lasts about 8 to 12 hours. The temperature range is 100 to 101. Please Suggest what is normal and abnormal regarding fever. Iam giving Meftal Syrup. How many days it should be given and at what intervals of time?

A. r here for proper comments is very difficult until and unless a proper examination is done to find out the exact cause so it would be better if you consult your doctor so that he can examine properly and than will guide you accordingly regarding this

A. Hi parent The said syrup can be given four times maximum and minimum gap between two dose is : five hours . dose should be according to her age and weight keep her hydrated don't use demineralized and you may give her a spoon of lukewarm water Every hour in the day time keep a bowl full of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far over night
