POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. See your baby's pediatrician if your baby has vomiting for longer than 12 hours. Babies can get dehydrated quickly if they're vomiting. Get immediate medical attention if your baby is vomiting and has other symptoms and signs like: diarrhea.If vomits more than once, offer ORS for 8 hours. ... ORS is a special fluid that can help your child stay hydrated. ... Spoon or syringe feed small amounts.For the first twenty-four hours or so of any illness that causes vomiting, keep your child off solid foods, and encourage her to suck or drink small amounts of electrolyte solution (ask your pediatrician which one), clear fluids such as water, sugar water (1/2 teaspoon [2.5 ml] sugar in 4 ounces [120 ml] of water), ..most babies vomit from time to time, and it's usually nothing to worry about . Everything from indigestion to a prolonged bout of crying or coughing can trigger this reflex. So you may see quite a lot of vomiting in your baby's first few years.
