Q.

good morning doctor my baby age is just 11 days only she get cough and me also cough countinue almost in 6 days for me no milk proper supply for my baby i eat all home remedies for milk production know what I want to do

A. Cough is a protective reflex of the body to expel out the mucus or any irritant factor from the respiratory tract which is most of the time assosiated with cold due to any viral or bacterial infection . A proper examination is required to find the cause . As a home remeyfdy you can start with steam inhalation . Cough can be treated with cough suppressant or antitussives as per the cause. For cold antihistamines are useful and nasal saline dropsy are also benifecial .

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and as baby is small then give baby only doctor prescribed medication after evaluation and also have shatavari powder with cow milk twice a day and have soaked meethi seeds early in the morning and increase the intake of garlic ginger green leaves vegetables and dairy products in diet.
