My child 11 month old she have cough doctor give cough syrup. Morning time cough too much. Other time no problem. We can give honey for her?

A. honey can be given only after completion of one year of the child. occasionally, honey contains bacteria that can produce toxins in a baby's intestines, leading to infant botulism, which is a very serious illness. f after 1 year there is no problem in giving it to the child
