Father of a 4 yr 4 m old girl3 years ago
Q.

Good morning doctor. I have a twin girls 9 month old. In the night, they woke up very frequently. They feel too much hungry. We feed them throughout the day in the gap of 2-3 hours. What could be the reason and how to overcome that?

A. Babies' tummies are tiny and they can only hold so much breastmilk or formula. Because of this, they need to be fed every few hours in young infancy and that causes them to wake up hungry in the middle of the night (often multiple times). A baby who is hungry will rarely go back to sleep until they've been fed.
