Good evening sir My baby is having fever for the past 3 days.doctor suggested us to take paracetamol syrup 3ml 4 times a day..today we observed small tiny red rashes on face..what should we do

A. do apply calamine lotion over rashes.. The sudden appearance of rashes is quite common post fever. It is often due to a viral infection. . It will usually go in a few days itself.

A. 3ML is actually or not to be given to such a small child I don’t know why you a doctor has advised you such a heavy dose it I think because of heat generated in the body due to such heavy dosage of medication your child is suffering with heat rashes go ahead with using calamine lotion on to the affected area as of nowWrite Your Answer Here
