A. Hi Pavitra! Yes, you can start introducing Lactogen or any other infant formula to your daughter after 6 months if your breast milk supply is insufficient. Here are a few tips: 1. **Gradual Introduction:** Start introducing formula gradually, mixing it with breast milk if possible, to help your baby adjust. 2. **Consult Pediatrician:** Before starting any formula, consult your pediatrician to ensure it's suitable for your baby and to get recommendations on the right formula. 3. **Monitor Baby’s Reaction:** Observe how your baby responds to the formula and watch for any signs of allergies or intolerance. 4. **Continue Breastfeeding:** If possible, continue breastfeeding even after introducing formula, as breast milk provides important nutrients and antibodies. 5. **Work Arrangements:** Consider planning your work schedule and feeding routine to ensure a smooth transition for both you and your baby. Starting formula after 6 months is a common practice, and it can help ensure your baby receives adequate nutrition if your breast milk supply decreases.
