from last 6 pr 7 months my son is having cold and cough .. if I give medicine and nebulization he will be better... after few days same cold, cough , night time cough with vomiting is having... I m tired of giving nebulization and antibiotic to child... pls tell me how to cure this problems... is inhalers will be safe and how how long we have to take it?

A. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold . here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever . it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely. dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mxdi / nebulizer. allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweext food also. body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.
