Q.

For low breast milk supply , I am on domperidone for last 1 month . My baby is 2 months 17 days of age . For how long I can continue with domperidone. And also how to know that my milk supply has increased. I have a fear to stop top feeds as my baby has lost weight during his 1 st month a lot when I was exclusively breast feeding him .

A. .if your child is active, healthy, comfortable, sleeping well and takes feed then no isseus. if s baby tummy is full then chekx if passing urine 7-8 times in 24 hours and if baby is looking content after every feed. And your breast may seem weightless after feed. If so baby is getting enough feed. Babies don't starve. They will sure cry if they are hungry. Just burp well after every feed. If baby is feeling content after feed then no isseus it means baby had fed well.
