for how long should i breastfeed as my baby does not unlatch on own and how do i know my baby is full

A. You feel light in breasts and no leakage of milk which is most common indication having sufficient milk production , sagging breasts and while expressing out milk you will get less flow.

A. Hello good afternoon ! If baby is continuously latching then check if baby is getting enough feed. Peeing 7-10 times a day, sleeping 14-18 hours a day, increasing weight 100-150 gm per week then baby is getting enough feed. If you feel light , saggy breasts then it indicates you have insufficient milk. Feed every two hours, if you have normal flow then 15-20 minutes or else feed 30 minutes (slow flow). Have milk and diary products, garlic milk Garlic in curries, kheema,rusk, roasted bread, Papaya,chikoo, bottle gourd, poppy seeds in regular diet for increasing breastmilk supply.
