ExpertMrunal DiwanNutritionist3 years agoA. After baby turns 6 months, you can start off by giving homemade liquid foods like rice water, daal water, fresh vegetable soups etc. and gradually introduce semisolid foods like rava upma, soft rice, dalia, khichdi, grated/sliced fresh fruits etc.

Start with dal water rice water coconut water and gradually give suji kheer oats kheer khichadi daliya mashed potatoes mashed bnana seasonal fruit and veggies soup apple puree eggs etc.
Gradually increase the amount of food. Start with few spoons only. Give nuts like cashew almond pista chhuhare etc once baby completes 1 year.
