Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child. c the first dosage is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till coxmpletion of 5 years of age. previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children.
