First time, mother of a 23 year old girl, I have sore and cut nipples since the delivery and I am unable to feed from one breast because of which I have got lumps and it’s painful. I tried every possible thing to express the mail using pump and manually as well, but it’s very painful. Can someone suggest if there is a way I can stop the breast milk for 23 days till my cut heal?

Yes you can give formula and apply Boroline antiseptic cream regularly on your nipples for them to be and I would also advise you to generally massage the breast with oil and hot compress which will help in reducing the lump and pain into your breast and please consult the doctor needed
