A. yes can cause as it's rich in iron the colour of stool can be black due to iron supplements you might be giving to the child or it may be black due to formula milk you might be giving or it might be dark in colour naturally. if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the colour of the stool. if in confusion you can meet your doctor for clarification

A. No if your child is having beetroot then the motion colour can be pink for sure the urine colour can also be pink for sure but not black as black colour usually associated with the Iron supplement if you are giving any to your child
