Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. fever is the response of the body towards any kind of infection or any inflamg nmatory process in body and only when the temperature is above 99F it is called as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose which can be again repeated after every 5 - 6 hours if required and do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever in between the doses.
