Q.

During breastfeeding my 4 month baby makes hmmm noise when he is awake... when he falls asleep he doesn't make any noise but breastfeeding continuous.. why he makes that noise?? is that noise normal??

A. they are known as respiratory sounds and due to the secretions which is present in the throat of the child whenever the child is taking feeding there is a sound coming due to the milk which passes through the narrow cavity

A. Hello maam Yes it’s completely normal because when your child is awake your child is distracted also looking here and there so making those kind of sounds and once your child is asleep your child is at peace that way doesn’t make any noise is busy taking the feed but all these things are considered completely normal so there’s nothing to be worried about
