Q.

Dr. My baby is six months and a week old. During exclusive breastfeeding he passes stool only once in a week. Now that we have started supplementary semi liquid food, we have expected that he would pass stool more frequently. But that is not happening. Is it normal for baby on semi liquid food to pass stool not that often. Plz enlighten.

A. U Siri constipation is very considered normal at this age so don’t give up supplements all the time for your child to pass motion also I would like to tell you if your child is passing urine in about 5 to 12 times in a day then that is completely normal in the feeling is good then there’s nothing you need to worry about
