many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections.
it is very common that children will have a recurrent cough and cold as well as fever besfore 7 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will go away.
get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decrseasing this problem

start with calc phosphorica a homopathic medicine for teethong
it helps in easing teething effects
