Dr, I am 29 years old, Diabetic for last 4 years, now 37 weeks pregnant, doing insulin as 10-8-8 ( Novorapid ) & 20 dose Insulatard at 10 pm. After 2 hours of food+insulin my sugar level is almost 130.But after Sometimes i am getting my sugar level to drop to 37. What may be the reason for that? My Diabetic doctor told me that there may be some defects for your fetus that's y its happening..! I am really Sad by hearing that. And Is there any chance of my baby to low sugar level after birth? How we will come to know about this? At what interval we shoukd check baby's sugar level? Is it life threatening?
