Q.
does painless vaccination causes pain ? we are just home after giving 6 months vaccination (i.e.Typhoid and influenza) and he is crying a lot.The hospital staff said that it's a painless vaccination, then why my baby is having pain ? and what is the solution for the same ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as welly as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you cant apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
