Does breastfeeding increase heart rate? I am 1 week post partum with BP on higher side. Medication are ongoing. But my pulse rate has also increased. Please share experiences

A. Namaste Mom It actually does not but in few cases during breastfeeding as known hormonal changes occurs and that tends to release oxytocin which can influence heart rate and blood pressure
