Doctor my son had cold n fever n cough . fever is gone completely but he has running nose and cough from last one week pls let me know should I give him antibiotics or will cough go on its own . And how many week do cough last due to cold n fever.

Now he is fine with fever but cough is still troubling him . even our doctor is on leave so I just wanted to know how many days do cough last in kids n should I give him moxikind cv kid antibiotics for cough. pls I want answer from doctor n experts not from others.

Do not ever give antibiotics without your doctors advice are not good to be given without a particular problem or diagnosis where antibiotics are required for cold and cough it has been running so long I think your child is having allergy you should get your child treated for allergy
