do children get fever after 6 weeks vaccination done at private hospital

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. yes if it's painful vaccine when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

Sunita MahatoMom of 3 children1 Year agoA. yes children wl get fever after the DPT vaccine at 6 wks 10 wks 14 wks.. there wl be 3 doses of vaccines.. u cn gv calpol drps u cn rub ice cubes on the vaccination area to reduce swelling pain redness... take care
